HistDAO provides a concentrated source of diamine oxidase (DAO)—the key DAO enzyme responsible for breaking down dietary histamine in the digestive tract. This natural health product may help to reduce histamine intolerance symptoms.

Each tablet supplies DAO activity in a formulation designed to withstand stomach acid and remain active in the small intestine. By helping to process histamine before it enters circulation, HistDAO may help tolerance to histamine-containing foods.

Microcrystalline cellulose, Hydroxypropylcellulose, Potato starch, Magnesium stearate,
Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Stearic acid, Sodium alginate, Purified water, Ethylcellulose, Ammonium hydroxide, Medium chain triglycerides, Oleic acid.

Recommended dosage
Adults: 2 tablets 1 time per day. Take 15 minutes before a meal. Do not chew or break tablets. Swallow whole.

Cautions and warnings
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a gastrointestinal or cardiovascular disease or disorder, bronchial asthma, are taking anti-inflammatory or histamine-releasing medications, or antihistamines. Not suitable for vegetarians (animal source of the enzyme).
