Gymnema sylvestre is a woody branched vine growing in the wild forests of Central and South India. The plant has been used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine for centuries for many different conditions. The terpenoid active molecules known as the gymnemic acids are scientifically proven to be responsible for the health-benefiting mechanisms that are provided by Gymnema sylvestre.
It is traditionally used in Ayurveda as Dipana (a digestive tonic), to help promote digestion.

Adult Dosage
Adults (18 years and over) – Take one capsule daily with food, two hours before or after taking other medications, or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner. Do not open capsules, as this may compromise the stability of the medicinal ingredients. Do not exceed daily dose unless instructed by a healthcare practitioner.
Cautions
Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes, intestinal disorders or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever.
