Andrographis paniculata is a bitter-tasting herb, rich in andrographolides and primarily found in Asia. This herb has been used in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for centuries.
The active components of Andrographis are “andrographolides,” very bitter compounds known as diterpene lactones found in the aerial parts of the plant (leaves and stems).

Adult Dosage
Adults (18 years and over) – Take one capsule twice daily with or without food, or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner. Do not crush, blend or mix the capsules. Swallow the capsule whole. Do not exceed daily dose unless instructed by a healthcare practitioner.
Cautions
Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Acanthaceae family or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking immunosuppressant, anticoagulant, antiplatelet or hypotensive medications (or supplements). Some people may experience gastric discomfort, vomiting and/or loss of appetite. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen or for use beyond 7 days.
