AOR Acta-Resveratrol

Resveratrol is an antioxidant belonging to the polyphenol family found in many plants such as various berries, peanuts, rhubarb and several herbs including the Japanese Giant Knotweed. It is the main component in red wine that is responsible for its touted health benefits.

In a trans-form for easy absorption, resveratrol provides a rich source of antioxidants that help to combat the damaging effects of free radicals.

While red grapes are high in resveratrol, they are often extremely costly and require massive amounts of energy, chemicals and environmental resources to grow, maintain and extract nutrients from. AOR’s Resveratrol is sourced from wildcrafted Japanese knotweed. Japanese knotweed is listed by the World Conservation Union (UICN) as one of the world’s 100 most invasive species. Rather than horticulture societies attempting to eradicate these weeds with herbicides releasing harmful chemicals into the atmosphere, AOR is contributing to manual control by using the knotweed as our preferred source of resveratrol.

Adult Dosage
Adults – Take one capsule daily with food or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner.

Cautions
Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 6 weeks, or if you are taking phenytoin. Some people may experience headaches. This product contains corn allergens, do not use if you have an allergy.
